Where Shippers and Carriers Connect !
What We Do
Jicargo is enhancing the freight transport industry by connecting shippers and carriers. The Jicargo platform empowers a shipper to find the right carriers, and a carrier to find the right loads. Whether you are carrier or a shipper, you can count on Jicargo to increase your freight logistics efficiency.
Why Jicargo? While there may be other options for shippers to post loads, and for carrier to find loads, the Jicargo platform connects shippers and carriers directly via an online, near real-time communications channel.
This direct connection channel enables shippers and carriers to negotiate terms in near real-time, and agree on a contracted price for a load before reaching a delivery agreement. In other words, Jicargo empowers shippers to find the best carrier in a timely manner, and empowers carriers to find the best load, even when on the road.
For Shippers
Register With Us !
After you post a load on the Jicargo platform, all registered carriers are able to see only your load details. Therefore, as a shipper, your identity is kept confidential. If interested, a carrier can put a bid on your load, or submit a counter-offer bid. In this context, a bid is the price for which the carrier is willing to deliver the load. You’ll be notified when a carrier puts a bid on your load. You can accept, reject, or counter-offer any bid. Only after you and a bidding carrier reach an agreement, Jicargo shares your contact information with the bidding carrier.
Since there’s no geographic limit as to where a carrier can bid your load, your load is visible to a large pool of potential freight carriers. Some of them are likely local to your origin, others may be close to your destination, and still other carriers may happen to be en route between your origin and your destination. Therefore, for any given load, you may receive multiple bids from multiple carriers. By leveraging the Jicargo platform, you are likely to find the right carrier in a timely manner.
Unlike other load board companies, Jicargo encourages multiple carriers to bid on your load simultaneously. Once you post a load with Jicargo, you don’t have to negotiate price with careers individually over the phone. Instead, multiple carriers may bid and compete for your load, and when multiple carriers compete for your load, you have multiple options !
Whether you are a casual shipper with a small organization, or you’re in charge of delivery services within a large corporation, whether you’re based in a metropolitan area or rural America, our platform enables your loads to reach a large pool of potential carriers.
There is no membership fee and no registration fee. It is absolutely free to get started with us. You pay nothing to post loads in our system. However, we do request that you enter load information accurately, and do not back out an accepted bid with a carrier. That way, we can provide dependable and fair services to all clients.
For Carriers
Register With Us !
Once you register with Jicargo as a carrier, you can search for loads that meet your criteria. You can search for loads anywhere .. from your desk, mobile device, home, or while en route to your destination and find those loads just right for your back haul.
Here's how it works: Once you bid on load, we immediately notify the posting shipper, who may accept, reject, or counter your bid online. Of course, when they decide, we immediately notify you, so you can decide your next step accordingly. If you change your mind before your bid is accepted, then simply cancel your bid.
There are no membership fees and no hidden costs as a carrier. You pay only for each accepted load. There is no cost for bidding on a load, so you only pay Jicargo after you win a bid to deliver a load.
Unlike other load board companies, Jicargo enables you directly negotiate your delivery price with the posting shipper. More importantly, Jicargo's future mobile app will enable you to find a load on the go. If you're en route delivering a LTL, you may find another LTL having the same route as your existing LTL. Or, if you've just finished delivering a load and you’re ready to be on your way back, you many find a load just-in-time for your backhaul. Jicargo wants to help you fill your trucks, find a load when you need it, reduce your deadhead miles, and increase your profit.
Whether you're with a large transportation logistics company or you’re with an owner-operator trucking group, Jicargo's platform empowers you to compete with anyone, and to find the right loads that fit into your lanes.
Jicargo wants you to feel confident you can use the Jicargo system risk-free. How? If you reach an agreement with a shipper to deliver a load, and if the shipper cancels or backs out of the load, Jicargo will 100% refund what you paid for the load. By using the Jicargo platform, you have nothing to lose.
However, if you cancel an agreed delivery with a shipper, your payment to Jicargo is not refundable. Jicargo is not trying to make a profit out of your cancellation, Jicargo is simply encouraging all clients to post and bid responsibly so Jicargo can provide fair services to all our clients. Jicargo appreciates your understanding, and iks proud to be price-transparent.
Go Green
Although for profit, Jicargo strives to reduce the carbon foot-print attributed to freight transportation. In fact, Jicargo's platform can reduce the deadhead miles (the miles a truck travels without a load), can combine multiple LTLs (Less Than a truck Load) into a single delivery, may increase the profit of Jicargo's clients, and at the same time reduce the carbon foot-print of the freight transportation industry
Pricing
For Carriers
For each accepted load, you pay $20.00 + 2.00%.
In this context, 2.00% means two percent of the delivery price agreed with your shipper.
There are no additional costs, and no hidden fees.
For example: You find a load with a shipper’s asking price of $1,450. While others bid $1,500, you put a bid for $1,400 and the shipper accepts your offer. Your account is debited $48. That is, $20.00 + $28.00 (2.0% of $1,400 = $28.00).
If you cancel an accepted bid between you and a shipper, the charge to your account is not refundable. If the shipper backs out, Jicargo refunds 100% of what you paid for the load.
Jicargo is not trying to make a profit out of your canceled load, but is encouraging all our clients to post and bid on loads responsibly. That way, Jicargo can provide fair and reliable service to all clients. Jicargo appreciates your understanding.
For Shippers
To shippers, there’s no regisgtration fee, no charge to post loads, no charge to counter-offer a bid, and no charge to accept an offer. That is, a shipper pays nothing to use the Jicargo platform.
However, we do request that you enter load information accurately, and accept bids responsibly. Once you accept a bid from a carrier, please do not back out from the agreement. That way, Jicargo can provide fair and reliable services to all clients. Jicargo appreciates your understanding.
